All foreign clubs registering with the ARA are given a club code as per the list below (if your club is not included on the list, please contact the ARA directly.)
Overseas clubs are advised that they are required to display this code on their boats if they are bringing their own and using the Thames for either competition or training, however, if they are hiring / borrowing boats locally, it is sufficient for these to carry the identification of the club owning the boats.
Overseas clubs which have been registered on OARA for sometime may not be aware that boat ID is now required above Teddington Lock, unless they have been in contact with the ARA or TRRC since this was extended to all of the Thames Region.
Regatta organisers on the upper Thames (between Oxford and Teddington), are therefore asked to ensure that overseas crews taking part in their events are aware of this requirement.
